On 43.579 hectares, a wide range of plant products with an On the way to PlanetProof certificate is produced by 1.583 companies in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, France and Portugal. There are also 96 companies certified for the trade in those products.

The Sustainable Agriculture Initiative Platform (SAI Platform) confirms the equivalence of the sustainability standard ‘On the way to PlanetProof’ for plant products at Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) Gold level. This is a result of a recent benchmark of the standard against SAI Platform’s FSA 2.1. The equivalence supports the ambition of SMK in the development of its standard ‘On the way to PlanetProof’ to an international environmental quality label for AgriFood.

On the way to PlanetProof for plant products is added to the Sustainability Map, the international comparison site for sustainable quality labels and standards. Sustainability Map shows how a product with On the way PlanetProof certification scores on various aspects. Sustainability Map is independent and offers information about various international quality labels and standards like LEAF, GLOBALG.A.P. and EU Organic Farming.
